Hi! This is a theory on the Ending to FF7. Well...*clears throat*.....to put it simply I think they found the promised land. It was prophisiesed that the ancient would come to the planet and return to the planet. Obviously Aeris did come and her lifeforce did return to the lifestream. All the bad things where wiped out so the world is bringing supreme happiness. Which was also prophisiesed. I think that Midgar covered in foliage represents the past and the present. The past evil and the present fact the evil has been overcomed. I think that this is what happened. The world will start over and make it the promise land. This was my theory on the ending.
